Kingdom of Priests: the House of Jacob Unemployed or Suspended?

The House of Jacob Unemployed or Suspended? Hello there and welcome. There have been and is currently a great Christian movement to help the Jews because of the renewed awareness they are God’s people. Not all organizations have adopted this publicly, but it is growing vastly around the world.

The reason everyone is not onboard is because the notion the Jews have been forsaken has lived in Gentile circles for years. So we must ask, are the nations to celebrate the demise of the house of Jacob? Is the house of Jacob unemployed or suspended?

A reassuring ambassador wrote, God forbid. Again, are the nations to take over and repeat a phrase commonly thought of in the biblical world that the “Jews have been cast off?” No, and for very good reasons.

God Will Not Faint, nor be Discouraged

Number one, God does not lose, neither does the Mighty God give up. Man’s free will is not going to cause God to lose confidence in His purpose and plans for mankind.

The divine prophet wrote about God, saying God will not be faint, nor be discouraged (Isaiah 42:4). Because of sin, God put in place a redemption plan for the house of Jacob. In addition, we’ll get insight on His redemption plan for the world and the house of Jacob in Isaiah chapter 59.

God is on a twofold mission to save the house of Jacob and Adam (mankind). In fact, God is using the House of Jacob to save Adam.

20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

God’s New Covenant with the House of Jacob

The Redeemer will come to Zion to them who take the time to turn from their transgression; ultimately to those who repent. The Redeemer is the Messiah from God (Jesus), and He will redeem Jacob and the world from their transgression.

Jesus came to His own people (house of Jacob), but they were not ready to receive Him (John 1:11). This is not a problem, because as many as will receive Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God (John 1:12).

The house of Jacob broke the Old Covenant, therefore God made a new covenant with the house of Jacob/children of Israel. In the book of Hebrews, in chapter 8, the writer declares this:

8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

God’s Redemption and Kingdom Invite is for All

This new covenant reestablishes the “called out ones” as the people of God. As it was with the first covenant, this covenant also includes all families of the earth (those who are not physical children of the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Israel).

Keep in mind, God has only known and established covenants with the house of Jacob, yet God’s invitation is to all mankind, through the house of Jacob. God has only known one nation, and this is confirmed in the Psalm, Psalm chapter 147 says:

19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

God, the King of Israel

The God of Israel showed His word to the house of Jacob and has not done so with any nation or family of people on the earth as of yet. When anyone clings onto Jesus in the name of Christianity, they are clinging onto Jesus of the Holy Bible.

This is the God and King of Israel. It is all fully connected. That’s a pretty big statement and a pretty big deal and can be difficult for people to fully accept or understand! Yet, it is what the Apostle Paul taught.

Take into account of what this prominent ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven, wrote in Romans chapter 3. It is clear we today shouldn’t overlook the protocol or order of God, even in the way God chooses His people. See what Paul wrote:

1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

(Emphasis mine)

What Advantage Then Hath the Jew?

The advantage the Jew (house of Jacob) has is that they were given the original answers or oracles of God. This stands true in our current day modern generation.

We only learn about the salvation of God (Jesus the Messiah), about the Kingdom of God, from the historic, prophetic, and authoritative book of the Hebrews, the children of Israel, Isaac and Abraham. We call their historical, legal, and prophetic book, the Bible.

This is the advantage! Selah
