Exodus Chapter 21 Summary

Exodus Chapter 21 Summary

Exodus Chapter 21 Summary Summary

Here in Exodus 21 are judgments God gave to the children of Israel for them to do based on things that happen within their community between each other.

For instance, as in our modern times, if we run a red light, the judgment is a ticket from the police officer.

Some of the judgments of God included freeing a Hebrew servant on the seventh year of their service to another Hebrew.

Other judgments included if a man kills another, the killer should be put to death. Cursing or hitting your parents is worthy of death.

If two men fight each other to the injury of the other, the injured should be compensated for the days he cannot work by the man who injured him.

In all, do unto others as you’d have them do to you. Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, and stripe for stripe is the message in the judgments.

Let it please the Father to add blessings to the reading and doing of His Holy Word through His Son Jesus Christ. So Be It!
